Postmodernism

Postmodernism refers to the ideas after modernism, where people looked to the future and tried to improve where postmodernism is looking back because people believed that there was nothing more to improve or invent upon. it is portrayed in all forms of arts for example in music the band oasis copied the Beetles music and made theirs similar. Also in music videos the boy band Take That made for the time a modernist video to accompany the song "back for good" which was released in 1995. another boy band The Wanted released "walk like Rihanna" on the 23 june 2013 and in their music video they parodied many other boy bands including Take That, this is a form of postmodernism.
