Contingency Plan

Contingency Plan
Name: Sean Lusted/ Craig Haxell

Production: Troy White “Master Plan”

Potential problems and how to overcome these problems:

1) If we cannot film in the Drama Studios (as we will need to in order to achieve appropriate lip-synching) we will film many backgrounds with the lyrics on for the majority of the song. Our initial idea was to film in this way but cut to and from scenes of acting that corroborate the ideas of the song. This will ensure that the filming will be completed and it is completely feasible to film the majority of the song in this way. We will be able to add the extreme close-ups of the “singer’s” lips to lip-synch a small amount in order to achieve the compulsory requirements for the coursework. This will be done in either my own or Craig’s house and so will always be possible regardless of time.
2) If some event prevents us from being able to film in the Heath park estate local area we will need to find another area of a similar look to film in. This may be somewhere close such as Althorne way estate or somewhere a bit further with a more serene look. We are attempting to catch the sadness, isolation and silence of a breakup and so the “artist” in the video will be looking depressed and dressed in a very casual “slob” fashion. This will not prove much of an obstacle because we can simply relocate to an area of a similar caliber.

3) If we fail to complete the lyrics then we will need to drag out the clips of the artist looking depressed. This will be no problem and the event of this problem occurring in very slim indeed. There is hardly any risk of this occurrence but we have a plan B in operation anyway.
